  Anyone using Macbook Pro for multicam editing 17 inch

  I am thinking of upgrading my older titanium powerbook g4(667 mhz and 1 gig ram) to the macbook pro 17 inch model. I have an account where I do about 8 multicam projects a year (3 camera angles). I have been using my older laptop but it is really pixilated while I’m editing. I have also tested the same project on a dual 1.25 g4 tower and there is no pixilation on multi camera edits. I’m just curious if the 17 inch macbook pro can handle multicamera edits well, without pixilation? if anyone has experience in this I would appreciate any feedback. I would hate to spend that money and not have much improvement. Thanks
