  Anyone using Cinergy Air as 24/7 channel playout using virtualised servers?

  I am looking at a project that is a cable tv channel 24/7 playout of existing media files delivered via dedicated bandwidth IP fibre to the broadcaster. Virtualised playout seems to be in its infancy but has many advantages…if it works!!

  Is anyone using any HD single channel playout software on VMWare based platform provided by dedicated data centers or similar? How is it going for you? Pros? Cons? Given it appears to be the way of the future is it mature enough to use now?

  Editing is why people like movies. Because in the end, wouldn’t we all want to edit our own lives?
