  Anyone tried the Matteblox? (matte box alternative)

  Hello all… I’m making the jump to DSLR shooting and attempting to keep the budget for the new gear as low as possible. I came across this:

  It even looks like something my dress-making girlfriend could put together in nothing flat. Looks like an interesting alternative. Anyone out there using it? Any thoughts?
