Looking to get rid of the render file problem and update to 6.0.2 along with os 10.4.11 and QT 7.3 and all other FCS2 updates.

Anyone running this combo with current v4 kona drivers with success?

    Thanks.

I’m running them. Only big problem I met until now is my Continuum Complete 4 plug ins. They do not appear in FCP anymore.

[Itamar Kool] “Continuum Complete 4 plug ins.”

This is BCC4 not BCC5, right? I think you need BCC5 for FCP 6, although currently the Chroma Key filter is busted in BCC5 . 🙁

Just got a mail from Boris. They are going to fix BCC 4 for FCP 6.0.2. When I upgraded BCC, I only upgraded for After Effects.
    Good service from Boris

All is well here running 10.4.11 and FCP 6.0.2, QT7.3 on a Kona 2 v.4 drivers.
The render issue seems to be gone, thankfully.

Thanks all, updated yesterday and today has been successful with a couple of layoffs, more editing and free lunch.

    Yippee!

    Jeremy,
Has there ever been discussion of somehow standardizing the posts for this kind of question on the Cow? I would like to have this info in a post where I know I can find the definitive answer after an update comes along. Maybe there could be a form to fill in with info on features, plug-ins, and other stuff that works or doesn’t work with the update.

I have not heard of any discussion, but let’s start one. What would you like to see?

Here are some ideas for the format:
-Easy to recognize or remember or make it a sticky post
    -Same format every time
-Contains a scorecard of what works and doesn’t work

-Can be contributed to by users in some way
(Maybe a form that keeps track of entries made and keeps a running hit counter for bugs on, say, the “X” plug-in.)

-Has a color code for “Stable”, “Shakey”, and “Awful” or variants

It’s an extension of the recent sticky post about Adobe CS3 and Leopard. An at-a-glance way to get the scoop on a new system. I thought this thread was useful for the purpose, but later on, we’ll have to search for this and we might get conflicting info from earlier threads.
