Just like the subject asks, has anyone run Resolve on a MacBook Pro Retina in clamshell mode? I’m updating my edit and color correction workstation. Right now I have and use primarily/solely a 15″ MacBook Pro Retina while I wait for the new MacPro (or if I’m disappointed by that, hopefully Apple will come out with a Mac Mini with 2 Thunderbolt ports). I’m adding 2 large monitors for GUI and want to put the MacBook Pro off to the side, and am thinking of using a Twelve South BookArc to have it out of the way in clamshell mode. I am concerned about the amount of heat though. There’s still ventilation, but is it enough when Resolve (which tends to be the most resource intensive app I use) is running?
