Anyone mixed XDCAM-HD & DVCPRO-HD Yet?
Just curious if anyone has.
We’re about to switch over to pure XDCAM (since all the sources are) but we have some DVCPRO-HD that will have to be mixed for a project coming up.
We’re getting that XDCAM HD usb drive coming out in november for $ 2,800 so no more deck rental after that 🙂

Wayne when you drop xdcam-hd into dvcpro-hd sequence, does fcp scale the xdcam down?
Or does it just make it fit somehow (like how mixed sizes work in after effects)

It scales the video properly. That’s the great thing about HD video. Scaling is usually not a problem.
