I’m transcoding some AVIs to something more efficient and I’d prefer to go to MXF OP1a (we’re Windows based). The AVIs are 30fps exactly (not 29.97), and I’d like to keep them that way, but in Media Encoder, I’m not seeing a 30fps option:

I had thought this was a DNX limitation, but I just discovered I can export a 30fps DNX MXF OP1a out of Resolve just fine. Anyone else see this in AME? Before I fire off a bug report to Adobe, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong.

    Adobe CC2017.1.2
    Media Encoder build 11.1.2.35
    Avid codecs LE 2.3.7
Windows 7 Enterprise, service pack 1
    CPU: Intel Xeon E5-26787W v4 @ 3.00GHz (2 processors)
    RAM: 64GB
    GPU: NVIDIA Quadro M6000

Did you get any more information about this? I’m running into the same issue with a 4K DNxHR project in Premiere.

No, never did get any answer or figure out any fix (other than using a different program, like Resolve).
