Anyone know the current stable QT / Direc t X ???
Quicktime keeps bugging me to upgrade and I have not since 7.4.1…I always pop for the 50 buck for pro, not sure if this makes a difference.
Does anyone know what the issues are with QT and what version should I be running as of today 9/17/2008. How come DRM exists? I produce content and I am a relatively techy computer nerd that has ripped plenty of stuff and if someone wants to take the time to get B quality stuff from my original then so be it…I just want a stable computer is that so wrong?
Same goes for Direct X please…

I dont think you have to pay for an upgrade from 7.x to 7.xx. Pro version allows for encoding and some crude editing and joining of .mov files without recompression.
I am running 7.5.5 OK. -
