I’m new to this forum but not to the cow.

I’m sure this question has been posed a couple times before but I don’t see a FAQ link anywhere

So, I have little to no knowledge of how to physically design a website meaning the code and all that other good stuff.

I wanted to know if there’s free software out there or inexpensive software that can basically do all the technical stuff for me and let me worry about the aesthetics. Like a “build a website for dummies” kind of thing?

I can tell you that we have our own in-house hosting server so that part is taken care of.

    TIA

    Sam

Are you looking for Mac, Windows or Linux-based software, Sam?

I’ve heard good things about Dreamweaver although I’ve never used it. I’m not sure it’s cheap though. Something low budget would be like Microsoft FrontPage I suppose.

Actually this might be what you’re looking for. I don’t know how good it is but it’s a free WYSIWYG web editor:
