Anyone know of any local bands in your area?
Hi All,
I’m new to this forum but not to the cow.
I am revamping my production company website and I got to thinking that it would be a good idea to either post links to “garage bands” or “bar bands” that are out there in my community to give them some exposure and/or ask them to send me sample mp3’s or demo .mov’s or .wmv’s that I would post on my site to let everyone hear and see them in action.
I also got to thinking that it would be even better to get bands from out of the area (like from around the U.S. or outside possibly.)
So, with that said, can anyone give me some websites of your favorite local bands?
I’m looking for bands that obviously are not going to be seen on MTV. I’m looking for bands that play for the love of playing, who work 9 to 5, then go to a smoky bar or club or amusement park and play their hearts out to 20, 40 maybe 200 people. I hope that’s a good enough description. I’m sure you all know the bands I mean.

If it turns out to be a hit, we might even think about making it into an actual television show that we would syndicate hopefully.
