    1. You think they used lens adapters for these DVX films?

    2. Do you think they show in 24p or in 60i then had it professionally converted?

Just trying to sort this all out.

Noah is right, camera quality can not make a good film, but it can sure take away some of the excuses to know what it is capable of.

    Hi,

Since this was filmed with the DVX100A they did not have Squeeze mode available to them. The did not use an Anamorphic adapter as things just happened too fast. They shot in 24P. The very beginning of the story was shot with a PD150 and this was transformed to 24P.

    Hope that helps,

    Jan

So the film is in a 4:3 aspect ration then?

    Thanks a lot Jan.

    Jan,

Isn’t it the DVX 100 that did not have the squeeze mode. I am pretty sure the 100A does have the electronic squeeze mode built in.

    Correct Jan,

I have the 100…my bread and butter for 2 years! But no squeeze on that one.
