    I have shot footage in HD 60p (using JVC) and when imported into FCP, the footage will play in the preview window, but not on my timeline.

    I have tried to reset the sequence settings, but to no avail. Anyone had this problem? Anyone fix this problem?

    YOur sequence settings need to match your clips settings exactly. Did you use an Easy Setup when you started the project and before you captured? Then if you make a NEW sequence, and discard Sequence 1, that new sequence should work.
