Hi all – I’m working on an art installation that uses 7 Sony digital photo frames to play video. The video player requires AVC-H264 files (.mts), and my video is quicktime (.mov) I shot at 720×480 resolution. So I need to convert .MOV to .MTS. I have looked into several different converters I found online, nothing works yet.

Looking for the best possible results – willing to pay for software if necessary. Mac only.

Thanks very much in advance for any ideas, suggestions.

I believe MPEG Streamclip will transcode to .mts files if I am not mistaken.
Google it, it is free software.

[tim hyde] ” The video player requires AVC-H264 files “
Which video player requires that kind of stuff?
    That makes no much sense.
That stuff (AVC/H264.mts) is being mostly used on acquisition.
I know there is a PANASONIC software plugin or so that allows to export to some of those codecs.
Jeremy Garchow has mentioned here in the forum.
