Anyone here at Ringling in Sarasota (or in the area)?
I’m in the area (on vacation) for about 10 days, and come here somewhat frequently. Just curious how many people from here are in the AE forum. Maybe we could have a meetup at some point. If not this trip, then another soon.
I’d really like to touch base with the AE community here.
Just give a shoutout so I have some idea. I’ll be out of touch for the next 2 days, but I’ll be checking my email after that.

Well, not at Ringling, or in Sarasota proper, but we have a pretty cool facility here just north in St. Pete. You’d be welcome to come by and check it out, hang out, etc. for the day. We’re a cow kinda place. You can even read the latest issue while using our beautiful bathroom! 🙂

I work for a small ad agency in Tampa. I’ve turned the other two designers into Cow junkies as well. BTW the latest Cow issue is at the top of the stack in our bathroom as well.

ever since jet blue started flying right into to Sarasota, I’ve been bypassing Tampa and St. Pete. I guess I have a reason to book for TPA now.
Who know? I may fly in that way and give you folks a hollar.

I’m in Sarasota and have learned so much from your tutorials — even how to do tutorials (think that was a COW article). I do AE stuff for a local church. If you would like to have a great lunch at a place that is definitely “old Florida” let me know. I’d love to meet you and you’ll get some great food in an atmosphere that can’t be duplicated.
Are you in town for the film festival or the beaches?

I’ll keep it in mind – though, alas, I’m leaving tomorrow. So perhaps next time?
I’m here for the beaches, water sports and the quiet. Sadly the last 2 days have left me a little wet, and not from swimming. Still, being down here is pretty relaxing compared to NYC (Which I love, but from which I need a break occasionally).
