  • Anyone have Edius and Decklink on same system?

I do but unfortunately Edius will not run unless I have uninstalled ALL the blackmagic drivers (disabling the card doesnt do it).

I have confirmed this with 1 other user with a similar set up so I was wondering if their is a workaround or reason this is happening.

    Thanks

OK I found a solution, although its not that fun. Basically you can simply disable the blackmagic card but you need to do it from the sound, video and game controller section of the Device manager. Reboot and edius wil now load.

Of course this means you cant use edius and say after effects or ppro with the Decklink card but for me why hell would you want to. My whole reason for upgrading to the decklink was to leave behind Edius and their crappy, buggy, underfeatured software for a real pro, real world solution.

I only have a handful of Edius projects I need to access briefly so this will do me fine.
