  Anyone else having slow loading problems with FRAPS and Vegas Pro 9.0e?

  It seems that Vegas Pro 9.0e has a problem with loading FRAPS files — in earlier versions (last I tried, 9.0c), you could drag them in and they appeared very quickly. Now, for even a 10-sec. clip, it’s a horribly slow wait. I’ve seen a few related mentions like:

  Earlier, I thought the problem might be the 64-bit Vegas (as certain codecs don’t work like TechSmith’s TSCC — dealing with so many complications is like swallowing and crawling on glass shards at the same time), but it happens in the 32-bit version, so I wonder if something changed in 9.0e (or 9.0d) to break this.

  Has anyone else noticed this, and what would be the best way to report this as a bug to Sony? Through a support ticket? I’d appreciate your independent confirmation so that was can get a solid repro nailed. Thanks. 🙂
