  • anyone else have a problem rendering a WMV file in AE 7?

i get an error when i try to render out a WMV file. It’s an error about IO mismatch.

adobe website says to make sure my WMV settings and output module match so the error does not occur.

but i can’t match them. if i choose 20 for my audio rate, i can’t match that in the output module. there is only a 22.

anyone waht i can do to get my WMV files to export?

On one of my machines I can’t even get into my WMV settings. If I try to use WMV or DVD, I get an unkown IO mismatch error .

Is anyone else getting this or a similar problem?

I get these messages even if i try to render a blank composition with nothing in it. As soon as I try to get into the WMV or MPEG-2 settings – WHAMO!

    Thanks, Tim.

    I FIXED MY ERROR!!!
i just found out that you can click on the audio export options in the Output Module an at the bottom there is a CUSTOM option. i used this to match my 20khz audio output, and that fixed my Mismatch Error.

I dunno, but I get much better wmv’x with thwe WMV Encoder, 2 pass variable bitrate, and easily tweakable, but then maybe AE & has the same options.
