anybody having A/V Sync problem audio is ahead of video by 3.5 frame
Hi all,
I am having A/V sync problem.
I’m right now testing the Aja Kona2 system and wondering if anybody having the same problem or it’s just only me.here are my testing systems
I am testing wit two Mac G5 2.7GHz (4.5GB RAM),
both have Kona 2 and K-box installed.
I use one LaCie Bigger Disk Extreme (FireWire800, 1TB) for the storageIf I use tiger OS, I get A/V sync problem only when I capture DVCPro HD 1080i60, While on panther
I do not have such problem. I use the same source tape and the same HDCAM VTR(sony M-2000)
and also the same External FW drive (Lacie’s Bigger Disk Extreme FW800 1TB). to be precise,
I actully use the same BNC cable and RS-422 serial cable and change those cable back and forth.
Audio is ahead about 3.5 frames to video. If I choose other codec like DVCPro50, and uncompress, there is no problem even on Tiger system.
So there seems only a few differences between the 2 systems, but I can’t pinpoint what the cause is.
The problem only appears when DV100 codec is chosen, if somebody having a similar problem,
or if you are not having a/v sync problem at all, if you know fix.
please let me know.here are the list of difference between the 2 systems
