I have been adding video attachments to my email for client approval for many moons.

The other day I got an email that had a Youtube video with side commentary, but the best part was that the video played within in the email (no attachment), It did not open the browser and go to Youtube to play the video.

Somehow I lost that email, but would still like to know how they did that.

Is anybody doing something like this?

It is cool not to have to send an attachment, just the url of the web/video and still have it play within the the email application.

Not FCP, but would surely help my FCP client approval workflow if I can understand and implement this idea.

    HTML.

Study the ’embed’ code from a YouTube video.

Fwiw my video attachments always play in my mail program. Perhaps not flash. But any QT does.
