  • Any way to show master clip from keyworded “subclip”?

Ok, so I’ve keyworded a portion of a clip and am looking at that, but then I want to see the entire source clip that it comes from. Is there any way to do this in FCPX. I can match frame from the timeline, but apparently not in the event browser when looking at a keyworded piece. I guess I could drop it in the timeline, then match frame, but that seems a little cumbersome.

    Thoughts?

    Thx,

    Oren

First select your keyworded range in the event browser. Then, if you select your Event from the event library (instead of the keyword collection), it will load the entire clip into the event browser with your range selected.
