  Any way to replaced sliced clips in place?

  I have a project with a clip that was spliced an moved slightly. I’d now like to replace it with a higher resolution version of the clip. When I select both of them and replace them, the first one comes in fine, but the second one starts at the beginning of the clip. My question: is there any way to replace the second clip so it picks up in the corresponding timeframe of the original? I’m guessing not, but just checking. Thanks!
