  • Any way to lock the vertical scroll in the timeline?

When I use the track pad on my MBP to scroll horizontally, depending upon how I have the clip views expanded via the “lightswitch” adjustments, I can’t keep the vertical scroll from going up and down unless I instead drag horizontally using the timeline slider. Is there a way to lock the vertical scroll in one position?

    Thanks,

I got it figured out. I’ll need to build a little muscle memory to make it fast and smooth, but if I first use the trackpad to push the vertical timeline scroll up to the top (or bottom) and then swipe at a 45 degree angle, it stays in place.
