I know you can import sequences thru the media browser as a way to not create dupe media in a project, but the issue we’re having is on a clip level, not sequence. We’ve had somebody pull a bunch of music & web clips that we’d like to pull into our project. The problem is that we already have a couple days worth of those pulled clips in our project, and when we try importing from the media browser, it duplicates everything we already have in the project. The file path for the audio, and for the web clips is the same file path for the clips we already have in the project. Is there any way that premiere pro CC2014 can only import the clips we don’t already have? or does this ONLY work for sequences? We thought importing a folder with the same name/path as the bin wouldn’t dupe the media we’d already imported, but so far no dice.

    Thanks!
