    Hey folks,

We are considering purchasing cinema 4d, and I am doing tutorials with the demo. One thing I would like to know is if there is a way to modify the keyboard shortcuts to be more like After Effects. One thing that drives me nutty when switching between programs is that all of the shortcuts for similar actions are different. Even when I know both sets of shortcuts I still find it hard when I have to move back and forth between the programs. Since AE is the program I am most fluent in, and work in the most, I would like to switch certain functions in other software to be more like AE.

    Thanks,

    -Matt

yes all shortcuts can be changed, shortcuts can be added to functions that don’t have them already and the entire interface can be customized. Check out Window/Layout

Aha, took me a moment to find it, but its “command manager” under Window/Layout.
    That looks perfect.

    Thanks for the tip!
