Any tutorials out for this??? 3D look from photos
Hi all,
I am intrigued by how you are doing these amazing looking 3D on still photos. I have read something about an entire movie that was done in this way too, but have not yet seen it. How would you start the work flow if you wanted to sort of “lift” the person from the still image?? I’ll try and find my specific example.

Over at Ken Stone’s site https://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/fcp_homepage_index.html there is a movie tutorial from Ripple that shows how to use Photoshop to isolate a object from the background. For some reason I cannot paste the link, but the movie is titled “Motion 3 – Photoshop Prep for 3D Animation (Movie) – by Mark Spencer.” Right now it’s at the top of the page. Also I just purchased Ripple’s “Motion 3 Fast Forward” where the technique for animating photo elements in Motion 3 is demonstrated quite well. I highly recommend it.
