Any reason to not go FCP>>Logic>>Pro Tools instead of FPC>>>Pro Tools?
I’ve been editing an audio piece in FCP X. I like final cut cause of all the metadata.
I need to get it into Pro Tools. Rather than buying new software, it seemed from reading online I could export it to Logic X and then go Logic to Pro Tools? Am I right? Is there any reason not to do that? Am I also right that if I do that, the Pro Tools session will not be simply separate cuts from the longer audio pieces, but just like my FCP X timeline, any audio will still be connected to the larger file they come from?
