    Any opinion how good the Sony HVR-V1U?

    I just saw the Soony HVR-V1U out and I wonder how good it is. Any opinion regarding this model or a better model is welcome. I’m looking into true 24P and like to know if this model will deliver true 24p as it claimed. Since it has the capability to record directly to a hard disk, anyone know the chroma sample or some called color space?

    All I can say is that I have held the camera and have seen shots taken with it to include some cromakey work and It looked great to me. Footage was viewed on a Evaluation Grade HD CRT.

    Please consult the HDV forum for info on this camera unit. The pasture residents there are more experienced in the features and specifications.
