Any Ideas What This Is??? And How To Fix It…?
Does anybody have any idea why I’m getting this artifacting and blocks? It happens usually when I have FCPX open but then it’s a system wide problem and it happens with all my apps. But it only seems to start occurring when I’m using FCPX. Any Ideas?? Video card issue? I just got a new Mac Pro 2010 about 2 weeks ago and it’s been acting up since I got it. I even get these blocks on exporting movies. Any help would be appreciated!!

Adam, I know what you mean. I can beat your artifacting and raise you quite a few. I simply wait a couple of mins and then carry on and the UI seems to settle down.

I haven’t seen this on either my mac pro or mackbook pro. It really looks like a video card issue, like perhaps some bad vram. I’d bring it to the Apple Store and possibly replace it while you still can.
