I am currently looking for a camera or something that can make a 3D movie, which is viewed with either R&B glasses or polarised glasses.

My client is a car company and wants to make a 3d movie. Could anyone give me some advice on making 3D movie? What kind of camera, dual-camera,or camera rig, should look for?

Equipment rental companies are also welcome. Professional consultancy during the production is also paid for.

    Best regards
    Smith

Talk to 21st century 3D in NY. They are the best at producing exactly the type of work you’re talking about (and no, I don’t work there :). They’ve designed their own proprietary stereoscopic camera system – check them out http://www.21stcentury3d.com

They designed there own system too but it is 1080 4:4:4 with variable interocular and they have beam spliter cameras to take interocular down to near zero if need be. They’re in Burbank CA. I’ve already edited several 3d pieces now.
