No, I am not paid to posts stuff like this. I see a product. It’s awesome. I wanna share with you. Since this is in the DSLR Video section, it works.

If anyone is doing serious DSLR video, there is really no need to have dozens of cards with you. I like Nexto DI, especially the
    Nexto Video Storage Pro NVS-2500
. It copies every kind of memory card out there (fast!), keeps the files neat and organized, and has a good amount of HDD space. One other reason why I like this for “extended field production” is the fact that it’s tough. Rugged would say better.

Pair this with your DSLR Video gear and you got a nice little tight package going on here. Especially if you use the stuff I mentioned in my earlier post. Right now, it only holds at max 500gigs, and I say “only” lightly…that would be more then enough for me. For some, no.

    Lovely.

Yes… I want one… gotta buy a few other things first.

Why does all the good stuff cost so much (totally know why)… jut wishing for money trees

Richard, if you find a money tree, can you please send some fruit my way? That would be nice 🙂

Unfortunately, with all kinds of new gear, you normally can’t just buy one piece of equipment and expect it to integrate into your workflow perfectly. I am the perfect example if we take the nanoFlash.

I simply cannot work with the massive amount of bits this glorious hick-a-ma-bobber is lovely for. My “setup” is nothing but a homemade PC (it’s a good-un, but not good enough), a canon GL2, a Canon XTi and various other things that can get me by with my really low end work. I get by. I ‘m using what I have now, to save up and get better stuff that would be appropriate for my work. Key words here…”what I have now” and “appropriate”. I’m not going to go out and on credit, buy every dream piece of equipment I can think of. And for me to even do good HD editing, that would most likely mean changing my computer, storage speed/space, upgrading my breakout box, a better monitor…then I would most likely get the GY-HM100U…the 700U if I feel fancy enough :). OR! If Magic Lantern does what we all like him to do to Canon’s 5DMKII or the 7D, and use the nanoFlash, that would be better.

Yeah, Nexto DI among other things would be great. Although I’m super wishful like we all are…I still use what I have.

Money trees would cause inflation anyway 😉
