Any experiences with FCP 5, Flip4Mac Pro & Sony XDCAM?
We’ve just received a FCP 5 system from Apple, and we’re just starting to use it with our Sony XDCAM.
One question – including the newest update, you can’t capture 35Mbt footage into FCP. Flip4Mac Pro claims it’ll work, but it’s a $500 seat of software.
Does anyone have any experiences with this?

Well, Sony’s software is supposed to be available now but their website doesn’t have a link up yet. The Sony software will do all of this and more.
