Any experiences of FinalTouch…

I would love for anybody with experiences of AJA products and FinalTouch to share their thoughts (Pros and Cons). Especially anyone who is familiar with a Symphony CC toolset.
I’ve held of getting a proper demo of FT as the non-RT preview (when going out of a SDI or HDSDI) is a bit tricky to get around. Since apple have enter the workstation market aggressively with their latest g5. I’m assuming the AGP bottle neck (can’t get video back out of the GX cards shaders in time for RT preview output) will disappear. This will make FCP with FT (and a Tangent Devices controller) very difficult to ignore.
I can only assume there must be lots of people like myself waiting (while paying avid assurance) to see what happens.
Any thoughts (or better still Experience)?

I was at IBC and really wanted to get a “hands on” tour of Final Touch my self. But it was a no goer. Very sad.
From what I’ve heard is that with PCI-E the bottleneck of AGP/PCI-X should be gone. We now have 2 times the bandwidth to the GPU, however, the video i/o is still the same speed as previews (Kona LHe is the only HD card for PCI-E at the moment and it runs on a 4X slot
