  Any chance of ingesting MVC 3D files?

  A year at least has passed since posters began to wonder when Avid would incorporate the ability to ingest 3D MVC AVCHD files.

  The alternative is to transcode to (colossal) AVI files using Peter Wimmer’s MVC to AVI – which can take many hours – followed by ingesting the AVI and pairing the clips – many more hours.

  Is anyone aware of any movement on this front?
