  Any advice on the best Sound Cards for both a Laptop and Desktop for Xpress Pro 5

  So far I’ve tried loading Xpress Pro onto the laptop but I get the error message:

  Exception: ADM_DSOUND_MIXER_OPEN_ERROR

  I need to know what PCMCIA sound card to upgrade my laptop to in order to handle all the audio needs of Xpress Pro 5 and which is the best Sound Card to install into a desk top.

  I need to import 2 channels of audio from my Sony DCR-TRV530E camera. DV Xpress 3.5 would only capture one channel but Media 100’s Cinestream would always capture both channels which tells me it is possible to capture both channels of audio from this camera. Which sound cards will do this for me when useing Xpress Pro 5.

  What are the best sound cards for both a laptop and desktop when useing Xpress Pro 5?
