    do i need to apply the anti allias filter in FCP to my text and psd files in order to make them appear more clearly. In fact i woul like to know what is the purpose of this filter.

    If you’re running FCP 5, turn your Video Processing tab to “Best”

    If you’re editing in a DV timeline, aliasing is the nature of a compressed format. De-Interlace, Flicker Filter and a touch of Blur are generally required to get something that’s mostly clean in DV.

    ok thanks, usually when i export my projects i only put deinterlace. and what do these two filters do ( anti allias and flicker filter do).
