  Another Widescreen Question

  I have a Canon GL1, a Canon GL2, and a Sony VX-2100. When I shoot in 16:9 mode, is Vegas going to handle the video differently between the Canon and Sony cameras? How do these cameras achieve the 16:9 video? Do the Canon cameras only use a portion of the chip, like the Sony? Someone help me understand.
