Another problem: Online H**p file won’t come up (Vegas Platinum HD 11 build 256)
Now I’ve discovered another anomaly: When I try to bring up the online help in Sony Vegas Platinum HD 11.0, build 256, nothing happens. I think it worked before I installed the build 256 update. The original install was from the boxed product.
I still have HD 10.0 installed in a different folder, and I can bring up the help with that. But it doesn’t work for 11.0. Anyone else seeing this?

Actually, I have this issue with Movie Studio Platinum HD 10. I used to be able to open the help normally from the menu in Vegas, but now that does nothing. I can still see and open the help file itself from Explorer. I haven’t done any Vegas updates or major system changes.

Where is the help file? I wanted to open it manually so that I could at least read the help and look up what I needed, but I couldn’t find anything that looks like a help file anywhere. If you can point me to where the help file hides for Platinum HD 11, that would be enormously useful to me. At least then I’d still have a way of looking at the documentation.

Thanks for the pointer! I uninstalled 11.0, then reinstalled just build 256 (per the forum discussion that you pointed to), and the help file is back!
