    Hi all:

Considering that the only options AFAIK to offload P2 cards are:

    1) Using the camera itself through Firewire (kinda slow, and ties up the camera).
    2) Buy an used Powerbook (requires… erm, spending the money in a Powerbook, even if it’s used).
    3) Buy the Panasonic 5-card reader (2000$).
    4) Buy a cheap PC and add a PCI PCMCIA card adapter.

My boss has told me to investigate option 4). So my question is: any particular brands of PCI PCMCIA cards that people here have experience with? Searching through the forum, I see this one:

But are there any other brands that are verified as working with P2 cards? (If they have Mac drivers, so much the better; this way we could sidestep the “buy a cheap PC” part). And of course, if there is some new “miracle cure” to offload P2 cards that I’m not aware of, please tell too.

    Thanks in advance,

    Paulo.
