I have a problem with our final cut pro. Our footages are out-of sync. In the timeline, the waveforms seems are correct. But if we playback the whole timeline, the audio becomes delay at the end. I tried clearing the preference setting but no dice.

    What could be my opinions.

    Here are our specs

Machine Name: Power Mac G5 Quad
    Machine Model: PowerMac11,2
    CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (1.1)
    Number Of CPUs: 4
    CPU Speed: 2.5 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB
    Memory: 6 GB
    Bus Speed: 1.25 GHz

    VIDIA GeForce 7800GT:

    Chipset Model: GeForce 7800GT
    Type: Display
    Bus: PCI
    Slot: SLOT-1
    VRAM (Total): 256 MB
    Vendor: nVIDIA (0x10de)
    Device ID: 0x0092
    Revision ID: 0x00a1
    ROM Revision: 2152.2

Thank you for help in advance

This is usually a case of your speakers set up incorrectly. Are they connected out of the Mac or out of the deck?

The delay that you’re hearing is most likely a result of how your speakers are connected and the length of the cables you’re using. The best way to tell if everything is in sync, is to playback your video using an external monitor. So, output your video to your deck and onto an external monitor that has built in speakers.
