I don’t understand how this helps Vegas users because this is a DirectShow filter and Vegas doesn’t support DirectShow. Is it a stand-alone application?

Have you used the codec package to read DVCpro? Does it work?

    Another DVCPRO-HD Codec !

Over the years we normally could only recommend Raylight
for decoding DVCProHD content…But just this morning i stumbled
across a company called MediaLooks, that offers both a
DVCProHD encoder and Decoder for windows.
Im now in the process of testing them….if this does as it
says…i would be exstatic (curious to not have heard
    of this before)
    They can be found here:

Need to know what you guys think.

Sorry to have to ask this. So what’s the verdict on this and does it acually help Vegas users? I just received a whole bunch of clips from a client ingested via FCP and I’m can’t open the files.
File are Quicktime MOV (DVC Pro HD).

Is there a way I can use the video directly on Vegas 9?
