Another Bug? In & Out point on Favourited Clips
Posted by Sascha Engel on February 9, 2014 at 4:10 pmHi,
Following problem: When I select a range of a longer clip and then favourite that part and take that favourited part and drop it into a Keyword Folder, it works fine till there.
Later, when I go to that Favourited Part of the Clip and I wanna set in & out with “i” and “o” it alway jumps to another clip, not setting in & outs.
Any idea why this happens? It’s a bug?Thanx a lot for any heads up.
Greetings,
Sascha Engel

Are you on 10.0.9? It is(was) a bug that was fixed in 10.1 The workaround is to use filmstrip view rather than list view.

February 9, 2014 at 6:04 pmThanx Charlie, Yes, I am still not in 10.1, since I could not update to Mavericks yet. A bit more complicate on HacMac and needs more time.
I will try your workaround till then.Sascha Engel

It will work, though it’s a PITA switching from list to filmstrip… I mapped a couple function keys to do this pre 10.1. As to Mavericks… I hear the next update will be much better, hopefully you’ll be able to get it to install at that point…

Sorry, it’s shorthand for “Pain In The Ass.” 🙂

🙂 Yes here too. But in all capital letters it means something else. 😉
