    Hi,

I’m hoping someone can help with this. I’ll try to make it as clear as possible.

I had a logo about 4 seconds long. I needed to take some text from a still, lay it over the logo, and fade it out halfway through the logo. I cropped the image, as the text was quite small (24 point or so). No matter what I tried, the logo would fade in addition to the text, while all I wanted was for the text to fade. I tried making a title, using an alpha, and moving it to other tracks in relation to the logo, and I couldn’t find a workaround for the life of me. I’m pretty damn sure that I’ve done this in the past, but this is the first time I needed to do it using a fade to white. Can someone please, please tell me what the heck I’m doing wrong?

Logo was on track 1, Image was on 2, mask was on 3.

    Thanks in advance.

    Oliver

not sure if I’ve understood the scenario but…

    don’t use fade to white…

add an invisible(add edit) to the cropped image track, step into the clip after the invisible and colr effect/correct till it whites out/you can defocus aswell if needs be. Step back put and add a dissolve across the invisible..

    post back if still problematic
