Which animation exportation format should i go with`?
Calling fellow Designers,
I know these are not simple questions, but would like to know what you would do in this situation.
1. I’m making illustrations for a booming start up in Denmark, Custimy.io, and we have difficulties in deciding which animation development platform/format that is best for showing animated illustrations on website, like WebP, Mov, MP4, GIF. What do you guys use, for cross-browser-compatibility and small file sizes?
2. Do any of you guys know a way to export the shadows and gradients on your design elements into After Effects? We have so far, always recreated them in After Effects, because they don’t look the same, when importing the illustration into After Effects. Should the illustrations, with the shadows and gradients, be designed and exported in something specific, or how would you combat this challenge?
