  animating shapes

  Hi all
  just wondering if it is possible to copy-paste keyframes of animated shapes (the animation not the position/size/etc.).
  I want to start a shape in outline A, change points to outline B, and come back to outline A.
  I tried to copy the keyframe of outline A (animation entry in keyframe editor), but when pasting it, nothing happens? I see the keyframe but the outline of the shape doesn’t change.
  Anyway to do this other then to recreate outline A manually again (which will never be exactly the same)
