    Another animation quandry…

I should probably just be using Flash with this but I don’t always have all the software I’d like. Anyway.

How would you guys suggest animating multiple items to move in unison? Things are never as exact as I need them to be no matter how careful I am about keyframe entry or other co-ordinates.

Hypothetically you could use Track Motion to get multiple images on the same track to move together, but in practice this isn’t working because when I import images they take up the whole screen and I have to zoom out with the Event/Pan crop… in practice this means that they can’t share a track without overlapping, even if they don’t look like they do.

It seems like there should be a way to group items on multiple tracks and then use the Event/Pan to affect them both equally and consistently with keyframes… any ideas?

    I have Platinum 12, so I can’d do nesting. 🙁

I made the animation quickly and easily using the Adobe Edge Beta, which is free. Now I just need to figure out a way to display an HTML5 animation in Vegas… grumble… any ideas?

Use Parent Motion. You won’t have 3D in Movie Studio but Parent Motion will still move the child tracks in unison in 2D:

    Not possible.
