Animating drawing as if it’s being drawn right now
Is there a way to draw (on say a wacom or Surface tablet or with a mouse) and have the drawing movements captured as video or animation and played back at adjustable speed?
So if, say I wanted to animate a flower it would start as a dot and then extend to a line and so on and then appear to color itself in.
I feel like if something could “record” me as I draw (preferably in vector) that would be a very simple way to achieve this.
Would this be better in the Illustrator forum?

You want to investigate Window > Motion Sketch.
