animating axis (anchor point)- PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
Hi Everybody
I am in need of some help. I am new to cinema 4d. I would try to animate the following scene.
We are standing at the bridge of the starship enterprise looking out into deep space. a toilet door appears gradually from the vanishing point and as we appraoch it it is rotating around its centre (around its z axis). once it is directly in front of us it stops spinning and stops in its usual upright position and then gradually opens inwards by rotating on its left edge (as it would do f it was on hinges)to reveal someone sitting on the toilet.My question is How do I animate the axis (anchor point in After Effects terms) so that it is in the center while it is rotating in space and then on the left edge when opening to revela the guy n the toilet?
I am sure there must be a way to do it. When I try to do it by animating the modeling axis I can successfully shift it to either the centre or the edge but can’t seem to keyframe it to do both.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

put it inside a null and animate it inside that
