Animating an illustrated pair of lips
What would be the best way to animate this illustration of lips talking?

6320_screenshot20130725at19.21.36.jpg.zipI also tried the Auto Lip Sync script but that isn’t what I want.
Can anyone suggest the best method for the most natural result please.

That would have helped if I’d told you that in the first place wouldn’t it.
I designed it in Illustrator, just flat shapes, the styling has to be down on them yet but I wanted to attempt an animation now before I did any styling on them.Thanks.

I did plan to film a person speaking a few words and moving points on the lips to follow. Yes I imagine that being able to move such points in 3D space would be an advantage and look move natural.
I’m not going to be animating lots of words, just a few, so what do you think my best method would be; to carry on trying with the puppet tool or something else?
