I am making an intro that involves the camera swinging around to some #D text, and above the text an animation is gonna play that I made in After effects, will look as if coming up behind the text. My issue is that I create a material using the rendered animation and then apply it to a plain, but I cannot figure out how to setup the timing on it. Because as it is it just plays right away, and I need to keyframe it so that the animation starts when I need it to, when the camera gets to the text.

I went into the material options and clicked animation, the options are a bit confusing. I messed with them but still cant figure it out, can anyone fill me in on how to trigger the movie I have playing on a plane to trigger when I want it to.

    Thanks!

    Mode – Simple
    Timing – Range
Range Start – whenever you want it to start
Range End – start plus the length of the animation in frames (if you want it to play normally)
