    Hi,

I have a .psd file which is about 100 px in height, and it’s basically a vertical gradient, consisting of 2 px of color (spanning the entire 720px width), alternating with 2 px of transparency.

I am wanting to experiment with having this “gradient banner” appear via animation of each 2px color appearing — glowing bright quickly, and then turning back to it’s regular color, and then the next 2px appears, etc etc.

I am wondering is the best way to do this, to use a mask? Could someone walk me through this process? Or– is it better to just use individual .psd files for every 2px?

    -patrick
